Letter from the President
My name is Kymbrie Ulrich, and I am the 2020 Chapter President of the Sigma Kappa – Kappa Alpha chapter at Northwest Missouri State University.
I came to Northwest knowing no one on campus. After thinking about going through with formal recruitment I finally decided to sign-up, little did I know that would be the best decision I made freshman year. Greek life, especially Sigma Kappa, has brought me so many resources, connections, and loyal women who, regardless of various majors, backgrounds, and ages have supported me through both trials and success.
My time in Sigma Kappa has led me to a part of something that is bigger than myself. It has allowed me to grow as a person and spend time with women who share the same values of – service, loyalty, friendship, and personal growth. My sisters are the ones who help me study for a big test, don’t judge me when I eat three ice cream cones in one day, and are the ones who comfort me when I’ve had a rough day. Over the past two years I have grown so much and have become more confident and stronger women, and I have Sigma Kappa to thank for that.
I am truly proud to be a member of Sigma Kappa and to serve as the Kappa Alpha President. Continue to look around our website and get to know our chapter better!
